Back to our old-new house :)

After a bit over 2 months back in the US, our move is finally here. We can then finally move back to our house! We're so excited, specially because we're remodeling it. It will look really nice when the remodeling is complete.

Help is on its way... grandma Maria Carmen is arriving today to help with the boys while Olivia will be needing most of my attention. :)

Olivia is almost here...

I feel like I am going to explode! I have been sooo tired lately that sometimes I feel like I am not going to make it out of bed. Unfortunately, there is no way I can stay in bed having Lucas and Gabriel around... They are so excited about Olivia that they cannot wait anymore either!

At the beginning of the pregnancy Lucas would ask all the time if "tomorrow" would be the day she would come out, until I finally had the idea to associate Olivia's birth date with an event. So, I told the boys Olivia would be here when Santa gets here. That worked ;)

Happy Thanksgiving!

We want to wish everyone Happy Thanksgiving. We went to our friends' (Nikki and Phil) house to celebrate it. Too bad we forgot to take pictures... :( I hope your Thanksgiving was as nice as ours, surrounded by your loved ones.

Cuesta Park

Another day in the park... This time we went to Cuesta Park, in Mountain View. We just love that neighborhood!

Bye bye Eric, Anna, and Andre

Today is a very sad day, as we had to say goodbye to the Fonsecas - they are moving back to Brazil! We drove them to the airport today. Lucas, Gabriel, and Eric as always were playing until the very last minute. They will miss each other, that's for sure! And, we'll miss you all very much! We wish you all the best in Brazil, but we do hope you come back to live here again :) Sorry if we're being selfish...

Lucas' b-day party

Lucas' b-day was on the 24th of October but we celebrated it today at My Gym. He LOVED it!

Happy Halloween!

It's Halloween! It's funny though that we didn't really celebrated it. We have just moved back, the kids had no costumes, and they also didn't know much about the Halloween itself. We ended up going to Lu's house to celebrate Pedro's b-day - which was very nice. The boys had a great time playing with Luanna and Eric.

Lucas... back at The Woods!

Lucas is very happy to be back at The Woods. He met some old friends and is making new ones. Since day one, it has been easy for him to adjust to the new center. He feels comfortable in his new environment and we believe he remembers quite a lot about it.

Happy b-day Lucas!!!

Today is Lucas' b-day! We'll celebrate it on Nov.1st at My Gym in Palo Alto. I am looking forward to it, as I believe the kids will have so much fun!

In the meantime, Lucas and Gabriel are definitely very happy for being able to enjoy the great parks that we have here in the Bay Area. It's actually very nice - you have no idea how much bargain power they give us: no eating, no park then! ;)

Life at the corporate apartment

We are now living in a corporate apartment. The reason why is because it will take about 2 months for our move to arrive from Brazil. Thus, we have to wait for that to be able to move back to our house. As a side note, the house is still being rented out.

Life at the corporate apartment is interesting. The apartment is fully furnished, as if it was a hotel - except that we don't get the complimentary breakfast and the cleaning service :(

Despite the lack of space, the kids seem to be having fun. What they like the best is the TV cabinet - since it's empty they can hide in there - and the basket - Gabriel loves hanging out there!

And...we're back!

After being in Brazil for about 1 year and 4 months, we're back in the U.S.! Even though we had a good time in Brazil, it was very different from what we were expecting. Anyway, we're very happy to be back! :)
